Kindle your greatest fears, use your video production skills, and join our 2012 MadPea machinima contest, 'NIGHTMARE AT THE CARNEVAL'.
Videos can be submitted by uploading your entry to YouTube or similar video service, and subsequently emailing the link to Kiana Writer: kiana.writer@gmail.com. (You will receive a confirmation email.)
For rezzing rights and props, please contact Kiana Writer in-world.
Entries will be juried for storyline, editing, music and overall impression. The top 3 videos will be awarded L$ 3,000, L$ 5,000 and L$ 12,000, respectively.
Upon entering the contest, you agree with the rules below. Go Mad and enter the dark side! We are looking forward to see your creations.

Rules
1. The contest theme is 'Nightmare at the Carneval'. Tell a dark, scary story that unfolds at the MadPea Carneval.
2. The Carneval sim is the only Second Life location to appear in the movie.
3. You are allowed to use post-processing effects.
4. Video entries will have a minimal play length of 30 seconds and a maximum play length of 90 seconds.
5. Participants can each submit a maximum of two videos.
6. Your name—either SL name or RL name, or both—are required for participation.
7. Video entries will be accepted from November 24, 2012 and after. The last day of acceptance is December 28, 2012.
8. You allow MadPea to embed your uploaded video(s) on the MadPea channels in part or in whole for promotional purposes.
9. You will provide MadPea download access to a full copy of your video.
10. You will be credited for the videos published on any of the MadPea channels.
11. You will remain the sole owner of your submitted video.
12. The MadPea crew will establish a top 5 of video entries, which will be published in a dedicated MadPea Facebook entry. Here, everyone can cast a 'Like' vote for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The winners will be announced on January 4th.
13. Current and former employees of MadPea are not allowed to participate.
