Hello Peas!

According to our MadPea data, there are some very fast and fearless hunters out there, hiking along those Lennon Park trails and camping grounds.  Yes, so fast, that we had to catch up with a couple of them and get a few questions answered. We were able to ask two of them, about their recent encounter with our latest hunt, The Lennon Park Massacre.

Are you just as curious as we are to know about what they thought about this hunt? Well, here is what Caresia Adored had to say about being the first person to complete this hunt and her hunting skills.  She will go down in MadPea History as the first huntress to complete this hunt on the first day it launched 9/1/13, 2:13 pm, in 2h and 48 minutes.

What did you think about the Lennon Park Massacre hunt?

Caresia Adored: Very clever storyline, and even though actually getting the HUD was challenging due to some weird stuff going on with the sim... I loved how it was laid out...and I thought the

                                HUD and all the pictures were extremely well done...

Caresia Adored: Also thought the sim was just great... I went to camp as a child...so totally related ... and creeped out a bit *laughs*... we all had those "fears," about camp as children.

Did you find the hunt challenging?

Caresia Adored: It was challenging...and figuring out where all the places were located on the island definitely took me the most time... I had hand drawn my own map so I could navigate around quicker... as for finding the items at the different merchant parcels...the clues were pretty much dead on  if you thought about it... :)

Is there any advice you would give hunters, when doing this hunt?

Caresia Adored: Pay attention to how things are worded... think about things logically and keep a notepad nearby for your own sanity...*laughs* and have fun with it... and...after you are done... enjoy the sim and re-check out all the places you blew through to find what you needed ... :)

The Lennon Park Massacre has been open and entertaining the public now for about one week. The reviews and feedback has been overwhelming in response. Lennon Park Massacre: How to Start

Lennon Park Massacre

 12 teens and 3 camp counselors were found dead in a tragic school bus fire 1 year ago. The bus had just left a summer camp at Lennon Park.  A single teen survivor, Madison Walkner, was able to escape the flames and call 911. The bad publicity closed Lennon Park and the abandoned camp was never investigated, until now.

What really caused such a terrible accident?

Follow the clues, study the evidence, and learn the
truth behind the Lennon Park Massacre.

HOW TO START

Buy a HUD at the Events Board dispenser for 200 Linden and wear it.

(Please take notice to the information the hud will give you and post in your local chat box)

 

To conduct your investigation you will click the activities on your HUD which is a copy of the camp schedule. Each activity was held at a different area of the camp. Explore these areas for clues! These clues will lead you to another location where a second clue will be hidden. Turn up your speakers and read everything in local chat carefully. Pay attention and watch as your HUD changes as new clues are discovered. Your goal is to find all the clues to discover the truth behind the Lennon Park Massacre. If you succeed, there will be rewards for your excellent detective skills. If you need help, consider joining the Madpeas group. Good Luck!

Good Bye To Mad City

The Silent Peacock has opened its doors and you have investigated Room 326 to find out what happened. Mad City has seen its rainy days. Then you helped Madame Peacock free the trapped souls of the missing people. The shopping has been great. The parties have been like no others. Sadly all good things must come to an end and we want to end Mad City with MadPea style! 

We are going to have a two day party with a raffle. Many of the amazing vendors from Mad City and previous hunts have given us wonderful items to raffle off. We are raffling off a Unia Tour to be given by our very own Kiana Writer. Harter Fall, MadPea Creative Director, has even offered up time with him for a 3D modeling tutorial for you to win. We also have The Silent Peacock Hotel, from the room 326 hunt, which will be raffled off as well. You don’t want to miss your chance to get these items and the many others that we have as well.

All of this will take place in Crying Peacock Park on Friday August 30^th and Saturday August 31^st. We will have several Dj’s with different styles of music throughout the two days.  Come celebrate with us at Mad City in the park.
